No Test Track. Just Your Roads.
469.5 miles across Scotland, England and Wales, non-stop. Motorways, mountain passes and country lanes, driven through the night. Rain, sunshine and everything in between. No test track, just the same roads and weather you drive in every day.
And it never came close to running dry.
Three Countries. Every Kind Of Weather.

RAIN IN THE HIGHLANDS
We set off from the foot of Ben Nevis with the wipers already on.

SUN IN THE LAKES
Through the Lake District to Scafell Pike, England's highest peak.

HIGH WINDS AT YR WYDDFA
Into Wales and up to Pen-y-Pass as the weather turned again.

OFFICIALLY VERIFIED
Every mile tracked, the fuel filler sealed and witnessed, the result confirmed by Guinness World Records.

WE PUT BEN SHEPHARD THROUGH HIS PACES
We challenged TV presenter Ben Shephard to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa back to back. Three mountains, three countries, not much sleep. For the record to count, Ben had to reach all three summits and the JAECOO 7 SHS-P had to get him between them on as little fuel as possible. The mountains were the hard part. In between, he got a warm, quiet seat to rest his legs before the next climb.
Ben made all three summits. The car covered 469.5 miles at 68.7 mpg. Together, that's a new Guinness World Records title.

THE TEAM BEHIND THE RECORD
A record like this takes more than one person. Ben did the climbing, two record drivers shared the wheel for every mile, and a mountain expert got Ben up and down all three peaks safely.
