Terms and Conditions
This car giveaway is provided by JAECOO UK (the "Promoter"). By entering the giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Prize
- One (1) winner will receive one (1) brand new, unregistered (at the date of winner selection) JAECOO 7 SHS vehicle (the "Car").
- There is no alternative prize, and the Car cannot be exchanged for cash or any other substitute.
- The specification, colour and optional features of the Car are subject to availability and may differ from any promotional images used.
- A mutually convenient authorised JAECOO retailer will be agreed with the winner for handover of the Car. The Car will be registered by the retailer in the winner's name only and may not be registered to any other person.
- The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to arrange delivery or handover of the Car within twelve (12) weeks of winner verification, subject to availability and logistics.
- Insurance and road tax (Vehicle Excise Duty) are not included. The winner is solely responsible for arranging insurance and for complying with all legal requirements applicable to the use of the Car.
2. Eligibility
- The giveaway is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
- It is open to individuals who:
- are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom;
- are aged 18 or over at the time of entry and at the time of prize handover; and
- hold a full, valid UK driving licence at the time of entry and at the time of prize handover.
- Employees of:
- OMODA & JAECOO UK Limited or its affiliated companies; and
- any advertising or promotional agencies connected with this giveaway,
3. Giveaway Period
- The giveaway opens on 4th February 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 28th February 2026 (the "Giveaway Deadline").
- The Promoter reserves the right to extend the Giveaway Deadline where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, provided any extension is clearly communicated on the Promoter's website.
4. How to Enter
- To enter, entrants must visit jaecoo.co.uk/one-year-giveaway and submit the required details before the Giveaway Deadline.
- The following information is required:
- name;
- email address;
- mobile telephone number; and
- postcode.
- Entrants may enter once only and must enter on their own behalf.
- Entries will be deemed invalid if they are incomplete, invalid, received after the Giveaway Deadline, submitted multiple times, or otherwise breach these Terms & Conditions or the rights of any third party.
- The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to technical issues beyond its reasonable control.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it reasonably believes these Terms & Conditions have been breached or that an entry is invalid.
5. Selection And Notification Of Winner
- The winner will be selected at random using a computer-generated random selection process within five (5) working days after the Giveaway Deadline.
- The winner will be notified by email.
- If the selected winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner. In such circumstances, the original winner will cease to have any entitlement to the Car.
- The winner may be required to provide reasonable documentation, including proof of identity, age, residency and eligibility, and to complete vehicle-related paperwork before receiving the Car.
6. Use Of Your Entry & Data Protection
- The winner agrees, upon reasonable request, to participate in promotional and publicity activities relating to the giveaway, including publication of the winner's name and general location (county). No additional compensation will be provided for such participation.
- Personal data submitted as part of the entry process will be processed by the Promoter as data controller for the purposes of administering the giveaway, verifying eligibility, and awarding the prize.
- Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy, available at https://jaecoo.co.uk/privacy-policy, which explains how personal data is used, stored, retained, and the rights of entrants under UK GDPR.
- Marketing communications from JAECOO UK and its affiliated companies will be sent, if opted in. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
- Where an entrant opts in to request a test drive, their details may be shared securely with a local authorised retailer for that purpose only.
7. Miscellaneous
- No correspondence will be entered into regarding this giveaway or these Terms & Conditions.
- In the unlikely event of a dispute, the Promoter's decision shall be final, subject to applicable law.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this giveaway where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or where required for legal or regulatory reasons.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered as a result of participation in the giveaway or acceptance of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud.
- Any attempt to compromise the integrity or proper operation of the giveaway through cheating, fraud or misuse of the entry process may result in disqualification. The Promoter may also exclude such entrants from future promotions operated by the Promoter or its affiliates.
- These Terms & Conditions, the giveaway, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
- The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
