SALES UPDATE

OMODA&JAECOO UK CONTINUES RAPID GROWTH WITH ANOTHER STRONG MONTH

Mon, Jul 6, 2026

London, 6 July 2026

OMODA&JAECOO UK has recorded another strong month for car sales, registering a total of 9,754 vehicles in June 2026*, according to the latest results from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) today. The dual-brand house also achieved a 4.58%* market share during a strong month for the UK new car market, as registrations rose by more than 11% year-on-year.

These figures underline the momentum behind the rapidly growing dual-brand house, with demand continuing to accelerate less than two years after OMODA launched in the UK and just eighteen months after JAECOO entered the British market.

The hugely popular JAECOO 7 once again led the way for the dual-brand house, recording 3,145 registrations in June alone, coming in at seventh place in the top ten and retaining its position as the company’s best-selling model. Meanwhile, the smaller OMODA 5 – available in ICE, SHS-H (pure hybrid) and EV – saw registrations of over 2,000.

These latest results reflect the success of OMODA&JAECOO’s strategy of bringing design-led, technology-rich vehicles to the UK market at exceptional value. With an expanding product range spanning multiple powertrains, vehicle segments and specification levels, alongside a rapidly growing retailer network, the dual-brand house continues to strengthen its position in the UK automotive landscape as more customers choose OMODA and JAECOO.

Commenting on the results, Victor Zhang, Managing Director of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “Achieving another strong month of sales here in the UK proves that the appetite for these cars is continuing to grow. Almost 10,000 registrations in June reflects the increasing awareness of our brands and the confidence that customers have in our products, our retailer partners and our long-term commitment to the UK market.

“The continued success of our models, especially the JAECOO 7, and now alongside the more compact OMODA 5, demonstrates the strength and breadth of our product offering. With three models in the top ten best-selling cars for June, and as we continue to grow, our focus remains firmly on delivering exceptional customer experiences, expanding our network and bringing even more innovative products to the market.”

The OMODA&JAECOO UK retailer network currently stands at 144 dealerships across Great Britain, providing customers with comprehensive nationwide coverage.

Total OMODA UK registrations in 2026 now stand at 18,761*, while JAECOO UK has recorded 34,067* – with combined registrations for the two brands having now reached 52,828* in 2026.
