8-Year Battery Warranty

Our High-Voltage battery has undergone rigorous validation testing, ensuring the highest standards of reliability and durability. We are proud to offer an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first), providing coverage against material or manufacturing defects. This means we will repair or replace any such defects free of charge within the eight-year warranty period to return the battery capacity to at least 70% of the original capacity. What does the 7-year warranty cover?

It covers your JAECOO against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Wear-and-tear items and damage from misuse or accident are not covered — see the warranty booklet for full terms.

Do I have to service my car at a JAECOO dealer to keep the warranty?

Your JAECOO must be serviced on schedule to the correct specification to keep the warranty valid. Servicing at an authorised JAECOO centre ensures genuine parts and trained technicians, and keeps your roadside assistance active.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the car?

It does. Any remaining warranty passes to the next owner automatically, which helps protect your JAECOO’s resale value.
