London, 8 September 2026 – OMODA&JAECOO UK has today launched a new partnership with the RAC that further strengthens its customer support and aftersales services, going live with a dedicated Vehicle Off Road (VOR) operation.

The RAC is already OMODA&JAECOO UK’s complimentary breakdown provider, offering owners 24/7 roadside assistance that renews with each service for up to seven years**. Earlier this year, that cover was extended across mainland Europe, giving customers the same support on the continent, including roadside assistance, recovery, hire cars and vehicle repatriation. Today’s launch builds on that established relationship, with the RAC providing a dedicated Vehicle Off Road (VOR) operation to manage more complex cases through to completion.

As part of the agreement, a specialist OMODA&JAECOO team is now based at the RAC’s headquarters in Walsall, dovetailing with the organisation’s established roadside operation. As the new Vehicle Off Road partner for OMODA&JAECOO, the RAC provides dedicated support for customers whose vehicles cannot be repaired at the roadside and require further attention.

Working alongside OMODA&JAECOO’s existing roadside network, the team will manage each case through to completion, coordinating recovery, repair progress, parts availability and communication between all parties. This end-to-end approach helps customers throughout the repair journey, to reduce uncertainty, minimise downtime and get them back on the road as quickly as possible.

Where a vehicle cannot be fixed at the roadside, the RAC’s dedicated VOR team will coordinate the next steps, arranging a courtesy car or onward travel so that passengers can complete their journey. The team then monitors the VOR time for each case, liaising with OMODA&JAECOO retailers and progressing repairs through to completion, keeping customers informed every step of the way.

The partnership also provides greater visibility across the dual-brand house’s nationwide parts supply. The RAC team will hold oversight of parts availability across the country, working with OMODA&JAECOO’s internal team to anticipate stocking needs, identify demand trends and minimise shortages, helping to ensure genuine parts are available where they are needed most.

The partnership also marks a significant expansion of OMODA&JAECOO’s mobile aftersales capability. The RAC has been established as an authorised dealer within the brand’s network, enabling its nationwide team of 400 RAC Mobile Mechanics – the country’s largest multi-skilled mobile repair fleet – to carry out approved warranty repairs and recall work on behalf of OMODA&JAECOO. This allows eligible work to be conveniently completed at a customer’s home or workplace, reducing the need to visit a retailer.

The enhanced mobile service is expected to be particularly valuable for fleet operators who often arrange dedicated on-site servicing days for employees. The RAC can set up mobile bays at a customer’s premises, allowing warranty and recall work to be completed alongside scheduled servicing while staff remain at their desks. Where required, individual customers needing recall work can also have it carried out without visiting a retailer, helping operators minimise downtime and maintain fleet availability.

Steve Travis, Senior Regional Aftersales Manager of OMODA&JAECOO UK said: “The ownership experience doesn’t end when a customer drives away from the retailer or collects their new vehicle. From today, our VOR partnership with the RAC gives customers greater reassurance and support when they need it most, from the initial breakdown through to the completion of any required repairs.

“By combining the RAC’s expertise in roadside assistance with dedicated VOR case management and expanded mobile repair capabilities, we can provide a more connected aftersales experience. Ultimately, it’s about making things easier for our customers, reducing inconvenience and, in the unlikely case they have a breakdown, getting them back on the road as quickly as possible.”

RAC Business CEO Dan Sparks said: “Nothing is more frustrating for a driver than being without a vehicle, which is why having a process that’s designed to get customers back behind the wheel as quickly and smoothly as possible is so important.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with OMODA&JAECOO by introducing a comprehensive package that does just that. Combining AI-enhanced triage technology, dedicated RAC specialists and our nationwide network – including 400 RAC Mobile Mechanics – means we can identify the fastest and most effective route back to the road, keeping customers updated throughout. It’s another example of how we are delivering complete peace of mind to drivers, and supporting motor manufacturers in providing the best ownership experience possible.”

The new partnership reflects OMODA&JAECOO UK’s continued investment in customer experience as the brand expands across the UK, reinforcing its commitment to delivering responsive, convenient and high-quality aftersales support for both retail and fleet customers.
