Eligibility
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of these disability allowances:
Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You will need to have at least 12 months remaining on your allowance when you apply.
Ordering process
Getting a car through the Mobility Scheme is a seamless and simple process, designed with the intention of a stress-free experience from initiation to completion. Below, we’ll leave a comprehensive guide explaining how it all works.
Select a vehicle
Start the process of choosing a vehicle by viewing the range of offers available on the Motability Scheme and opt for the most suitable option.
Book a test drive
Do you want to know whether Jaecoo is the best choice for you? Then, when you have a vehicle selected, book a test drive to make sure that you are satisfied with everything.
Visit a dealership
After that, visit the dealership. You need to have your Certificate of Entitlement, recently paid utility bill or bank statement, your and your nominated drivers’ licence and details of any previous accidents that you or your nominated driver holds.
Collect your car
Finally, collect your car. There will be a need to complete a signed agreement between yourself and Motability Operations and pay advance payment if applicable.
